It’s time to revisit playing up the neck! Each week we’ll play a high octave arrangement of a fiddle tune for clawhammer, covering all four of the main old time keys (A, C, D, and G) throughout the series. We’ll also cover technique, fretboard mapping, and exercises that will help you figure out your own arrangements.

Workshops will take place online on Wednesdays 1/7, 1/14, 1/21 and 1/28 from 5:30-6:45pm Pacific via Discord (it’s not that different from Zoom, I promise, and it’s better for keeping track of workshop materials). After signing up, registrants will get a downloadable .html file (openable in your internet browser) with a link to instructions. The download link expires 24 hours after purchase so I recommend downloading it right away. Workshops will be recorded and posted in the Discord server.

Everyone is welcome to attend this workshop; the material will be intermediate/advanced. Participants will have an easier time keeping up if they are comfortable playing hammer-ons, pull-offs, drop-thumbs, and slides.
